[20TH ANNIVERSARY]

– Celebrate 20 years of Counter-Strike with a retro version of Dust II, currently available in the Casual Dust II map group. – The Chicken Capsule is now available for purchase in-game.

Here’s how to enjoy the Dust II retro version!

Simply choose the iconic Dust II map group. Don’t be confused if you are not inside the retro map yet because the map appears back-and-forth. Between each round, you will be teleported to Counter-Strike 1.6 automatically. There’s a lot of details that remind players of the 1.6 version, such as the wall texture, wall-bang spots and the lack of stairs clipping.

Another feature to highlight is the in-game purchase of new capsule featuring little mascots of CS:GO - chickens! (CS:GO described them as the unsung hero). This is another tribute to the early days of Counter-Strike! In cs_italy map of CS 1.6, two chickens could be found in the market. Back then, they were incapable of moving and just pecking on the spot. Later on, these feathered friends evolved themselves, stealing the spot in the game and appearing as pets, festive gears, and more!

Plair is releasing CS:GO tournaments on the platform and meanwhile, you must be busy practicing the game! It doesn’t matter if you are a noob or a pro, the updates just give us all another excuse to play the game. Jump straight into it and see you in CS:GO tournaments soon!
